Original art × texture × metal

Founded in 2011, Hangzhou Yunduan Art Co., Ltd. focuses on original art design and the development of decorative art products. We collaborate with independent designers while continuing our own artistic practice. Through digital reinterpretation and 3D visual processing, we combine original imagery with metal panels and micro-texture printing to bring greater depth, expressive marks and surface detail to the finished work.

Each piece begins with original design. We explore color, composition, brushwork and texture, using metal as a contemporary surface for artistic expression. The smoothness of metal creates a distinctive interplay with the textured image. Different lighting conditions and viewing distances reveal different details and layers. We call these works Metal Micro-Texture Art Prints.

Art in series

Our work develops through collections, including contemporary Chinese landscapes, abstract compositions, flowers in vases, pastoral scenes, urban impressions and other evolving themes. Our visual language draws on neoclassical and contemporary figurative art, abstraction, Impressionism and Expressionism. Each collection has its own character, while color, composition and size allow pieces to work together in a space.

Most works can be produced in large formats up to approximately 100 × 100 cm, making them suitable for homes, hotels, restaurants, offices, commercial interiors and interior design projects.

Design-led, made to order

Our core work includes original art development, collection design, digital reinterpretation, texture development, material selection and final assembly. We work with specialist material suppliers and production partners to produce components to our requirements. Yunduan Art then assembles the finished pieces and checks them against its own product and quality standards.

This flexible, made-to-order approach supports new collection development, a range of sizes and the needs of different markets, interior projects and wholesale partners, while reducing unnecessary stock and overproduction.

Our story

Our founder, Zheng Linjiang, has worked in painting and the art industry for many years. Before establishing the company in Hangzhou in 2011, he worked in Shenzhen in the export hand-painted oil painting business, gaining practical experience in artistic creation, art product development and international markets.

Early products combined hand-applied textures, painted finishing and fine art inkjet printing. As digital technology, artificial intelligence and new materials developed, we began to explore new ways of making art products. Today, our approach brings together original design, digital reinterpretation, 3D visual processing, micro-texture printing and metal materials.

Founder & artist

Zheng Linjiang / 郑晽江

Zheng Linjiang is the founder of Yunduan Art and a practicing oil painter. In 2017, his painting Chinese Porcelain received the Best People Award at the National Oil & Acrylic Painters’ Society (NOAPS) Spring Online International Exhibit. His paintings Melancholy Serenade and Reiterative Syllable received 3rd and 4th Place, respectively, in the Oil – Human Figure category of the 2017 American Art Awards. He is a member of the Zhejiang Artists Association.

His experience as an artist informs the company’s product development—from composition and color to brushwork, texture and materials. We explore ways for original art to become part of contemporary everyday spaces.
